springs on the west side of the majestic Grand Canyon. Archeological
studies at the Ranch carbon date human artifacts at between 1,600 to
1,700 B.C. The springs were first used by early settlers. In the mid 1870’s
Mormon covered wagon trains traveled the route through the Ranch
using the springs for camps and to replenish their exhausted water
