Grand Canyon West Ranch Activities and Events

From Guided Horseback Riding to Wagon Rides...

GRAND
CANYON WEST RANCH is nestled in a mountainous area between the west
end of the Grand Canyon and the Music Mountains of Arizona. Our
106,000-acre historic working cattle ranch is the ideal location to
be a “City Slicker” and escape away from the stresses of modern
society. Pine Cabins and Authentic Indian Tipis nestle under the lee of Spirit Mountain,
home cooking, log fires, horse and authentic wagon rides,
starlight evenings and western cowboy hospitality. Come to our Ranch
and rediscover both you and your close friends. There are no
Televisions, no cell phones, no smog or crowds. Just a time to
listen to the music of the canyon winds, watch the stars and
rediscover the lost art of conversation.

Ranch Fact:
Grand Canyon West Ranch was purchased in 1904 by "Tap" Duncan,
a notorious gunfighter turned cattle rancher, to retire from
his previous profession. At his heyday he was the fastest draw
using not one, but two Colt .45 Peacemakers with deadly
precision. |

Ranch Fact: Grand Canyon West Ranch only raises
Corriente cattle which are free to roam over 106,000 acres of
mountainous terrain. The Corriente can be traced back to the
first cattle brought to the new world by the Spanish as early
as 1493. |
