3,000 Year Old Natural Springs at the Ranch

The Only Natural Springs at the West Rim of the Grand Canyon!

OUR
EXCLUSIVE GRAND CANYON RANCH boasts the only natural water
springs on the west side of the majestic Grand Canyon. Archeological
studies at the Ranch carbon date human artifacts at between 1,600 to
1,700 B.C.

The springs were first used by early settlers. In the mid 1870’s
Mormon covered wagon trains traveled the route through the Ranch
using the springs for camps and to replenish their exhausted water
supplies after the long and hard journey from the east coast. After
the Hualapai Indian war around 1860, gold miners moved in to the
area and began building the roads to the Ranch.
