Canyon for an aerial tour before landing at our exclusive Grand
Canyon West Ranch.
You can
also choose to arrive by car, also a fun way to see the beautiful southwestern
United States. Visitors departing from Las Vegas save hours of
non-scenic highway drive time by visiting the much closer and more
exclusive West Rim of the Grand Canyon. from Las Vegas, it's only
113 miles to the West Rim, as compared to 295 miles to the South Rim. You'll avoid the crowds and
spend your time taking in the scenic splendor of the southwest as
your short two and a half hour journey will take you through a 900
year old Joshua Tree Forest on the way to to the oldest working
ranch in Mojave County, the historic Grand Canyon West Ranch.

Driving from Las Vegas:
Follow US 95/93
toward Hoover Dam (32 miles). Continue past dam for about 45 miles
to Pierce Ferry Road. Turn left on Pierce Ferry Road toward Dolan
Springs, continue through Dolan Springs. Watch your speed limit as
you travel through town (25 MPH Max. Limit). Continue for 27 miles,
then through the Joshua Tree Forest to Diamond Bar Road (unpaved).
Turn right, continue on for 7 miles. Watch for Grand Canyon West
Ranch Gate Entrance on the right.
Driving from Kingman:
Follow US 93
toward Dolan Springs (40 miles). Turn right on Pierce Ferry
Road toward Dolan Springs, continue through Dolan Springs.
Watch your speed limit as you travel through town (25 MPH Max.
Limit). Continue for 27 miles, then through the Joshua Tree
Forest to Diamond Bar Road (unpaved). Turn right, continue on
for 7 miles. Watch for Grand Canyon West Ranch Gate Entrance
on the right.

West Airport is also conveniently located approximately 14
miles northeast from Grand Canyon West Ranch.

Ranch Fact:
Grand Canyon West Ranch has the only natural springs on the West Rim
of the Grand Canyon. In the mid 1870's Mormon wagon trains traveled
a route through the ranch using the springs to camp and re-supply. |
