Grand Canyon Sightseeing

Sightseeing Adventures at Grand Canyon West

GRAND CANYON WEST RANCH is the ideal location to explore the West end of The Grand Canyon and Lake Mead. Ideally located of the Grand Canyon Plateau, overlooking the majestic Spirit Mountain, is the remote 106,000 acre Grand Canyon West Ranch. This 150 year old working cattle Ranch is the ideal location for you to escape to the real wild west.

You can choose to just plain relax while at Grand Canyon West Ranch, or experience the awesome beauty of this land and set out to explore this pristine southwestern setting! Choose from horseback riding, cattle drives or even an exciting helicopter flight into the Grand Canyon itself.

Heli USA's exciting Helicopter Tour features an executive helicopter flight from this exclusive Grand Canyon West Ranch which actually takes you below the Rim of Grand Canyon itself. This approximately 28 km long flight will take you through the massive Grand Canyon and allows you to be one of the few to actually descend below the rim of the Canyon and marvel at the towering rock formations spanning millions of years of geologic time.

The oldest Ranch House in the county is located at Diamond Bar Ranch.

Enjoy a leisurely horseback ride on the Grand Canyon Plateau.

Ranch Fact: In 1871 Lt. Wheeler's Expedition charted the first extensive exploration of this area. The main springs, which are the location of Diamond Bar Headquarters located on the Grand Canyon Plateau, were first named by the Indians as Tanaka Springs.
